Frequently
asked questions...
What
the heck are you doing here?
-Just what you see around, drawing! I mainly draw in comic styles, I also
make clay-modells sometimes and also paint detailed CGs but I still love
the comic stuff, also the different techniques of coloring, my fave tools
for CGs are Photoshop and Painter, traditional media: Colored Pencils,
DesignPencils, Ink, Graphite, Clay, etc.
Can you draw something for me?
-You mean a Request? I really can't take requests! I am quite filled up
with commissions and work, so I am sorry! Generally not taking any kind
of art requests!
If you are interested in a high-detailed or high-res. printable art, you
can have a look at my Commissions in the Services-area.
How
do you draw that stuff?
-Mainly all of my pics are based on rough traditional sketches, I use
tablets too, yes but I still prefer the traditional way of sketching.
I make digital inked pics and color them with Photoshop, Painter or antoher
programm. For more tips you could look inside the tutorial
section!
Can
I use your stuff on my website?
-Yes generally you can, if you don't use it in commercial way, but please
ask me before! Always! You can mail me, check the information on the top
of this page!
Can I use your pics as reference, resp. the tutorials, you know..?
-The well know problem... Generally you can use the same techniques I
used in my tutorials but don't try to rebuild the exact result! You know
what I mean! Also don't use any of my pics as base for you own modifications!
It isn't your art if you take a pic and just change a few things (color,
clothing) there! You can use the pics in the tutorial/gallery section
which have the name "Reference" in them! (wings, poses, antomy,
etc) if you are not sure, please ask me!
Commission FAQ:
1.
How much changes do you make in one commission?
If the changes are small, like you want another expression, another position
of the ears, another pose for the tail or something similar were the effort
isn't to big, I am willing to make three without any additional costs,
if the commission is still in LineArt/Sketch status, I won't make such
changes after the coloring is done, sorry. If you want bigger changes,
like a whole pose, perspective change or a completely new coloring I will
not do it for free since that is almost the double effort of a commission.
2.
What can I exaclty make with the commissioned pic after it is done?
You can print it for yourself on paper or shirts or whatever you like,
as long as it is just for your self and not for commercial plans, like
selling t-shirts or prints. I have a print store of my own but I will
never sell prints of commissioned art without the permission of the commissioner!
If you want to get a commission done which you can use in commercial way
please tell me seperately, because these commissions have other prices.
3.
What filetypes can I have?
You can get it in PNG, JPG, GIF or BMP format, I won't give the PSD files
out since they are quite gigantic in size. You can have the pics in 300
dpi printable size of course!
Thanks
for your time! ^__^ |
